Join our highly effective IT team at a ten school multi-academy trust. We provide quality IT support to around 5,500 students and staff maintaining the IT infrastructure, printers, mobile devices and software to minimise downtime during the busy school day across the schools in the Trust.
The main duties of the role are to resolve incidents raised through the helpdesk system across our ten schools. We are looking for good technical knowledge of Microsoft platforms (server, desktop, Office 365) ideally in a multi-site environment and possibly holding a relevant Microsoft certification. You will understand networking, possibly with exposure to Fortinet technologies.
The working environment in a school is dynamic and no two days are the same. We are mindful of our work-life balance and the working hours are Monday to Thursday from 8.00am to 4.00pm with a 3.30pm finish on Fridays. We want great team players who always focus on making sure the students and staff are fully supported but no out-of-hours working is required in this role. We use the school holidays to carry out project and reconfiguration work and you will be a key member of the IT project teams when we roll out new systems and products.
The salary band reflects the range of experience we are looking for and means that we can offer development as you build your skills. In addition to the nationally negotiated salary, the Trust offers a generous local government pension scheme with a 21.7% employer contribution, a cycle to work salary sacrifice scheme and 26 days holiday rising to 31 days per year with service plus paid Bank Holidays. There will be opportunities for professional development within the Trust.
You will have an induction to help you to settle into school life and be supported by a collaborative IT team with a strong teamwork ethic.
The Fallibroome Trust is committed to safeguarding children and young people and therefore the successful candidate will be subject to stringent vetting procedures, including an enhanced Disclosure Barring Service Check (DBS).
