The Role

Marlborough Primary School is a large two form entry primary school set in extensive grounds on the outskirts of Macclesfield. We strongly believe in developing the whole child and our dedicated staff create a supportive, happy and secure learning environment providing our pupils with the best opportunities possible to achieve their potential.

We are looking to employ a dedicated, enthusiastic and reliable School Cleaner to join our team.

No experience is necessary as full training can be given.

The successful applicant will be working alongside 3 other cleaners and will need to work well on their own as directed and as part of a small team.

The hours are worked over 5 days during term time but are grouped together during school holidays so the successful candidate will need to be flexible.

Duties include:

Wiping furniture, ledges, doors, paintwork and polishing door glass

Emptying and cleaning bins

Cleaning toilets, sanitary fittings and surrounds

Sweeping and mopping hard floor surfaces

Vacuuming

Undertaking additional cleaning duties as directed by the Site Manager.

Marlborough Primary School is a member of the Fallibroome Trust, a ten school multi-academy trust based in Cheshire. The Trust offers opportunities for peer support and professional development.
